This is a lovely decorative bowl and a nice example of fine Chinese imari work.
Made in the early Qianlong period circa 1740. Lightly potted with a wiped foot rim, and decorated with a central motif of chrysanthemums.
Beautifully picked out with gilt, and drawn with a fine line of orange red iron. The body has a slight blue green colour and the rim lined with a dark ochre brown.
This is a bowl the rim standing 4.2cm. Lovely light fine brushwork.

Good and commensurate with age. Some small loss of gilt, and some restoration to a small rim chip and hairline. Has a good ring to it when tapped, and the restoration is invisible unless held against the light. Please study the photographs.
