Made by Coalport around 1805.  Decorated using a transfer and then hand enamelled.

A heavily potted plate with wonderful flower decoration and swirls inspired by the Chinese early Ming patterns, this pattern is known as “Chrysanthemum swirls”.

Later versions included gilding within the pattern and are commonly red or orange.  This green early example is very unusual.
