Late 18th Century Creamer with red blue and silver decoration

A delightful small creamer decorated in an exciting pattern with several elements, in a restricted palette of blue red and silver.  This is a very typical colour range for Wolfe.  

Wolfe produce some really lovely high quality wares over a relatively short period of forty years from about 1780-1820.

The patterns are very well applied with care and precision, and his shapes are typically well proportioned and elegant, with an understated and restrained quality very much being the taste in the late 18th century.
